We found a healthy Asian take away!
Asian take-away generally has a bad wrap – oily, greasy and definitely not healthy! Rest assured, possibilities do exist, and we’ve found the perfect option that won’t break the diet or the budget!

Nestled in Tingalpa, this cosy modern Asian eatery offers a huge selection of delicious and healthy dishes either dine-in or take-away.
Venzin Group restaurants and cafes are well known for their vibrant and tasty food, and Pawpaw Asian Kitchen is no exception! The menu showcases a variety of dishes originating from Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia; brimming with nutritious and fresh ingredients. It’s ALL MSG Free + features vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options! One thing for sure, is that Pawpaw Asian Kitchen ticks all the healthy boxes!
Here’s a few of our healthy picks from their menu –
Roti Canai – This dish has to be one of our favourites, bursting with fresh and wholesome ingredients. With a combination of cumin pumpkin, sweet potato and eggplant, this dish is enriched with vitamins and vital antioxidants. We’re just putting it out there – this may be the best yellow curry we’ve have ever had.
Holy Basil Chicken – Not only does this stir fry include a whole lot of vegetables, it also packs a protein punch, helping those muscles grow! Enriched with interesting textures and flavours, and a little heat from the chilli; The Holy Basil Chicken stir fry not only has so many health benefits, it is also seriously delicious.
BBQ Pork Vermicelli – Filled with vegetables, fresh mint and vermicelli rice noodles, this palate-cleansing dish is light and flavourful, making it no surprise as to why it is apart of our healthy picks.
Vegan Green Curry – with tofu, roasted pumpkin, eggplant, snow peas and basil, it’s not just good for your body, but also for your soul, especially on those warmer nights!
The Pawpaw Asian kitchen also has a selection of salads such as the Isan Crying Tiger and the Yum Eggplant, which like most of their menu, are enriched with flavours and jam-packed with vegetables, helping us reach our 5 servings a day.
Oh, and don’t forget the Turmeric Coconut Rice!
Are we happy that Asian take-away just got healthy! Yes, yes we are!
